Carrie Farrington attended University of Maryland, Baltimore County where she received a degree in Psychology. For several years, she worked for Kennedy Kreiger Institute in the Behavioral Psychology Unit. There, she received extensive ABA experience. She received her Master of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology from Loyola University in Maryland in 2012. In addition to A Sound Beginning, she works for Howard County Public schools. Her areas of professional focus include working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as AAC communication. Carrie is PECS and PROMPT trained. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, cooking, shopping, and going sailing.
